Beginner Tips

Crimson Moon launched September 1, 2026. As of launch, the official sources (Steam page + 7 Steam News posts) give us the following confirmed mechanics:

High Risk, High Reward Missions — every run has stakes

Evolving Nephilim powers — your character's abilities change during a run

Dynamic difficulty scaling — you can set the difficulty per mission, and higher difficulty = better rewards

War Table planning — strategic mission selection between runs

What we do not yet know

Without player testing or in-game footage analysis, we cannot tell you:

Specific button inputs or control schemes

Optimal weapon choices

Stat priorities

Boss attack patterns

Loot rarity tiers
