An Update on PC Keybinding — Crimson Moon Dev Response
ProbablyMonsters responds to launch-day community feedback about missing keybinding options. Fix coming this week.
An Update on PC Keybinding
On launch day, PC players raised concerns about missing keybinding remapping, mouse sensitivity options, FoV slider, and ultrawide support. ProbablyMonsters responded directly via a Steam dev post within 24 hours of launch.
"We've heard the frustration from our PC players around the lack of keybinding and remapping options, and we want to be clear: we're committed to getting a fix into your hands this week. Team Metal is already working on a rapid first implementation of keybinding support. Our priority is to get this functionality to PC players as quickly as possible, so this first version may have some bugs or areas that need polish — but we want to make sure the core functionality reaches you as soon as possible."
This is a direct response to the launch-day criticism documented on the [Community Sentiment](/community/community-sentiment/) page, where missing keybinding was the dominant negative review theme (17+ reviews citing it).
What Team Metal is working on
What's still missing at launch
The dev post addresses keybinding specifically, but the [Community Sentiment](/community/community-sentiment/) page also flagged:
These are not addressed in this specific dev post but are likely on the same roadmap. Watch for follow-up updates from Team Metal.
Reaction to the response
The response was generally well-received on launch day:
The wiki will update when the patch lands.
