Where to Buy Crimson Moon

Crimson Moon launched on September 1, 2026 across 4 platforms. Prices are uniform at $19.99 Standard / $29.99 Deluxe in the US — but platform-specific editions may differ in regional pricing.

PC

Steam

  • Price: $19.99 Standard / $29.99 Deluxe
  • DRM: Steam
  • Steam Reviews at launch: 352 reviews, ~23% positive
  • This is the version the wiki tracks for news (Steam News API + Steam Reviews API). Steam is also where the 7 dev diaries are hosted.

    Epic Games Store

  • Link: store.epicgames.com ↗ (search for "Crimson Moon")
  • Price: $19.99 Standard / $29.99 Deluxe
  • DRM: Epic Online Services
  • Confirmed by the TechPowerUp launch article (Sept 1, 2026) ↗: "available to purchase now on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store."

Cross-buy between Steam and Epic is not confirmed. If you buy on Steam, your save will not transfer to Epic (and vice versa).

    PlayStation 5

  • Link: store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10013260 ↗
  • Price: $19.99 Standard / $29.99 Deluxe (US; verify local pricing)
  • DRM: PlayStation Network
  • PS5 Pro features (per PS Blog)

Per the PlayStation Blog post on August 4, 2026 ↗:

"Players on PlayStation 5 Pro can take advantage of native support for upgraded PSSR, helping deliver a sharper image as you explore the blood-soaked streets of Gildenarch and battle the horrors lurking within."

PSSR is PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution — Sony's ML-based upscaler. On PS5 Pro, Crimson Moon uses the upgraded PSSR variant for sharper output than base PS5.

    Xbox Series X|S

  • Link: xbox.com/en-us/games/store/crimson-moon/9nmdsxmvqtn4 ↗
  • Price: $19.99 Standard / $29.99 Deluxe (US; verify local pricing)
  • DRM: Xbox Live
  • Optimized for both Series X and Series S. Smart Delivery is implied but not officially confirmed — verify the store page at launch.

    Cross-play and cross-progression

Cross-play between platforms is not officially confirmed at launch. The community has reported that co-op works on the same platform; no statement on PlayStation ↔ Xbox ↔ PC cross-play.

If you're considering multiplayer with a friend, buy on the same platform.

    Editions

    Standard Edition — $19.99 USD

    Includes:

  • Full Crimson Moon campaign
  • Solo or 2-player online co-op
  • All launch content (Sanctus Clypeus, War Table, full Ward roster)
  • Deluxe Edition — $29.99 USD

    Includes everything in Standard, plus:

  • Ceremonial Armor Set (cosmetic armor)
  • Axe of the Gods (guitar-shaped weapon cosmetic)
  • Access to a post-launch expansion at no additional cost (release date TBD)
  • Per the TechPowerUp launch article.

    Which platform should I pick?

  • Best for performance: PC (depends on your hardware; can scale higher than console)
  • Best for graphics on console: PlayStation 5 Pro (PSSR upgrade)
  • Best for accessibility / ease: Xbox (Quick Resume + Game Pass eligibility possible)
  • Best for indie / community support: Steam (developer posts live there, +workshop potential)
  • If you have a PS5 or Xbox friend: match their platform for co-op
