Per the dev post:

"Music Manager and Composer Steve Pardo and Audio Lead and Composer Christopher Wilson take you inside the recording process, alongside some of the incredible musicians bringing the score to life."

The recording used live orchestra + choir — unusual for indie games, which typically use sample libraries. The combination of orchestra + choir + metal is described in the dev's brief as:

"Gothic high fantasy. Orchestra. Choir. Metal."

Featured artists (4 boss-fight tracks)

From ProbablyMonsters.com ↗:

"Featuring more than an hour of symphonic fury, written by Christopher Wilson and featuring songs by Misha Mansoor, Jared Dines, Ricky Armellino, and Health."

The four featured-artist tracks specifically soundtrack boss fights — the metal elements of the score are concentrated at the Dead God and end-of-Ward boss encounters.

What to listen for

Per the Behind the Score dev post:

  • The Cathedral theme is choral — layered soprano/alto lines under a sustained bass drone. Plays at Sanctus Clypeus.
  • The Wards theme uses tense muted strings + low brass + heartbeat-style percussion. Plays during Ward runs.
  • The boss theme shifts gear (not just tempo) — metal takes over. The four featured-artist tracks are concentrated here.

Track listing

A full track-by-track listing is not yet published. The dev post identifies the types of themes (Cathedral / Wards / boss) but doesn't enumerate individual track names or count. Community play suggests ~12-15 tracks across the full runtime, but this is unverified.
