Crimson Moon Patch 1.0.0.1 — Keybinding Alpha Implementation
Patch 1.0.0.1 ships PC keybinding remapping and mouse sensitivity controls, addressing the launch-day community feedback.
Crimson Moon Patch 1.0.0.1
Released September 3, 2026 — two days after launch. This is the Alpha implementation of PC keybinding remapping, shipped ahead of the polished version in response to community pressure.
"Patch 1.0.0.1 has passed testing and we've decided to put our Alpha implementation of keybinding support into your hands now, rather than make you wait for the full, polished version."
What's in the patch
- Keyboard remapping for all available actions
- Mouse sensitivity controls (slider)
- Settings Menu → Keyboard → custom keyboard profile
- Revert bindings to defaults
What's NOT in this alpha (planned for future updates)
- Multiple bindings per action
- Profile save / load
- UI polish
How to access
```
Settings Menu → Keyboard → custom keyboard profile (click the left arrow)
```
Context
Per An Update on PC Keybinding, Team Metal committed to delivering keybinding support the same week as launch. This patch fulfills that promise — only 2 days after launch, faster than the original "this week" timeline.
This was the dominant complaint at launch — see Community Sentiment for the full launch-day context.
